Operational Excellence Communications Co‑Op

About the role

The Operational Excellence Communications & Employee Engagement Co‑Op supports the tactical execution of the Gurabo site communications strategy. Working with the Communications team and cross‑functional partners, the co‑op coordinates requests, content calendars, internal channels, newsletters, Town Halls, audiovisual activities, employee‑engagement initiatives, metrics, repositories, and administrative workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dedicated execution capacity so the Communications team can focus on strategy, governance, stakeholder alignment, leadership communications, organizational change, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver clear, timely, consistent, and audience‑appropriate communication across the Gurabo site while gaining hands‑on experience in corporate communications, project coordination, employee engagement, digital tools, analytics, branding, stakeholder management, and organizational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Completed freshman year and currently in the third, fourth, or fifth year of a bachelor’s program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint).
• Experience creating presentations, newsletters, social‑media content, or other digital communication materials through academic, extracurricular, volunteer, or professional projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Authorized to work in the United States without future visa sponsorship.
