Operations Technician – Handyman

About the role

The Handyman supports venue operations by performing a wide range of repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance tasks. As a member of the Emergency Response Team, the technician also assists with preparedness and recovery during emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general repairs including concrete, masonry, carpentry, painting, drywall, and basic welding.
• Install and repair fixtures, appliances, doors, gates, hardware, cabinets, kitchen equipment, tiles, carpets, and other flooring materials.
• Conduct routine property maintenance, preventive inspections, and troubleshooting of maintenance issues.
• Assemble furniture and equipment, replace damaged parts, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Support other technical staff, manage work orders in the CMMS, respond to security alarms, and maintain inventory of tools and supplies.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant hands‑on experience in building maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems and ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift/move objects up to 50 lb safely.
