Principal Product Manager, AI Strategy and Governance

About the role

The Principal Product Manager will own product strategy, roadmap alignment, and lifecycle management for AI and related strategic technology initiatives at HPE. This hybrid role requires working on average two days per week from the San Juan office.

Key responsibilities

• Own product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for AI, Post‑Quantum Cryptography, Junos/EVO platform evolution and related networking and security innovations.
• Drive AI strategy and governance across the enterprise, establishing portfolio visibility, investment prioritization, metrics, ROI frameworks and executive reporting.
• Lead cross‑functional planning with Product Management, Engineering, Security, Finance and GTM teams to align technology investments with customer needs.
• Develop business cases, market positioning and lifecycle strategies for new and existing capabilities.
• Identify technology gaps, risks and opportunities across networking, security, AI and cloud initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
• 10+ years of product management, product line management or product strategy experience.
• Experience managing networking, security, infrastructure software, cloud platforms or AI portfolios.
• Proven track record leading complex cross‑functional initiatives from strategy to commercial delivery.
