Procurement Specialist (M/F)

About the role

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing and purchasing construction materials, equipment, and services for mechanical projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost‑effectiveness, and required quality. This role works closely with Project Management, Operations, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Process requisitions, obtain quotations, evaluate bids, and issue purchase orders while coordinating approvals.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor costs, delivery schedules, and scope to support project budgets and timelines.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing information, supplier qualifications, and order status.
• Research new products, suppliers, and industry trends to identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of construction procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in the mechanical industry.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.
