About the role
The Quality Automation Engineer will join HPE's PC/Flex team to develop and maintain test automation code in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for long‑running, scale, reliability, and security scenarios.
- Collaborate with product management, customer support, and platform engineering to investigate defects and implement corrective actions.
- Mentor new hires and contribute to test framework architecture from the ground up.
Required profile
- BS/MS in Science or Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 2‑4 years of experience building automation test frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- Playwright for test automation.
- CI/CD tools such as Git/Gitlab and Jenkins.
- Linux/VM environments and virtualization technologies.
- Pytest and performance testing tools.
