Repair & Maintenance Automation/AI Technician

About the role

This onsite position is based at an HPE partner or customer office in Aguadilla. The technician will perform repair, maintenance, and automation tasks on manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, adjust, and assemble equipment according to plans, blueprints, and manuals.
• Perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and equipment modifications as directed.
• Troubleshoot non‑functioning equipment and resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Associate's degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent experience.
• 4‑6 years of manufacturing maintenance or technician experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical technology knowledge.
• Calibration and preventive maintenance processes.
• Ability to read technical documents, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, OSHA, IPC‑A‑610 standards.
• AI and automation knowledge.
• Network and software development knowledge.
