Seasonal Key Holder

About the role

Hot Topic is looking for music and pop culture fans to join its seasonal Key Holder team. You will support the store leadership team in delivering the best customer experience, help train new recruits, and support the Store Manager in daily operations and sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent shopping experience through product knowledge and customer service, and step up when needed
• Support the Store Manager and help run the store when the manager is away
• Help drive sales by increasing key KPIs such as UPT and ADTC
• Cover the sales floor and keep assigned areas up to visual standards
• Help with opening and closing the store
• Work the register, process sales, close out the register and report shortages or overages to the Store Manager
• Assist with planogram changes, including store map, wall, fixtures and merchandising mix
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ partners
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of merchandise
• Keep the stock room organized and the store tidy
• Train and coach new Sales Associates

Required profile

• Previous experience in a retail environment
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to stand and walk during scheduled hours, reach for merchandise with a ladder, step stool and pole, and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
