Senior Advanced Software Engineer – Display Services

About the role

As a Senior Advanced Software Engineer in Display Services at Honeywell Aerospace, you will join a fast‑paced development team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. You will work on the Anthem Next Generation Avionics project, delivering high‑performance display applications and ensuring compliance with certification standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and verify core display applications for the Next Generation Avionics platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Implement solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability goals.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and create test cases based on system requirements.
• Perform testing and integration on laboratory test benches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
• 8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years with C++ and object‑oriented programming.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• DO‑178C software lifecycle compliance.
• Software verification and validation.
