Senior Inventory Planning Manager

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Senior Inventory Planning Manager in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role leads global inventory planning and optimization strategies across complex product portfolios, manufacturing networks and supply chain operations, and works about 2 days per week from an HPE office. It covers inventory investment, working capital, supply continuity and inventory transformation through analytics, MEIO, automation and integrated planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead global inventory planning strategies aligned with revenue, supply availability, customer service and working capital, and set policies, safety stock and buffer optimization approaches
• Drive inventory governance across products, manufacturers, suppliers and distributors, and run quarterly and annual planning and projections
• Own inventory optimization, risk assessment, excess inventory disposition and E&O reduction programs, and partner with Finance on investment strategies
• Lead adoption of MEIO, predictive analytics, AI/ML, digital twins and scenario simulation, and automate and standardize planning processes
• Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Fulfillment and Finance, and lead global initiatives with external manufacturing partners
• Lead, coach and develop a team of inventory planners and subject matter experts, including talent development and succession planning

Required profile

• Typically 12+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, materials management, manufacturing operations or related fields
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and complex global supply chain initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Experience managing inventory performance in complex, global, multi-site manufacturing environments
