Senior Maintenance & Repair Technician

About the role

The Senior Maintenance & Repair Technician will work onsite at HPE’s Aguadilla location, supporting manufacturing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination across the area.

Key responsibilities

• Support coordination of maintenance activities to ensure efficient execution and resource utilization.
• Facilitate communication of priorities, schedules, and operational needs within the team.
• Provide status updates, identify issues, and drive timely resolution with the supervisor.
• Assist in balancing workload and maintaining focus on critical production requirements.
• Promote collaboration, technical excellence, and adherence to established procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 15 years of manufacturing background.
• Experience with calibration and preventive maintenance processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, OSHA, IPC‑A‑610 or similar regulatory standards.
• Strong administrative abilities in document control, data entry, reporting, inventory management, and compliance.
• Proven ability to analyze maintenance logs, implement lean manufacturing principles, and improve equipment efficiency.

Required skills

• Electromechanical technology and related software.
• Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) usage.
• Reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Calibration and preventive maintenance execution.
