Senior Sales Representative – Respiratory (Puerto Rico)

About the role

The Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Respiratory – Puerto Rico will drive Viatris’ respiratory product portfolio across the island, building relationships with healthcare professionals and achieving sales targets. This role contributes directly to Viatris’ mission of improving health outcomes for patients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business plan for the Puerto Rico territory aligned with Viatris sales strategies.
• Conduct high‑quality sales presentations to targeted customers and achieve quarterly sales goals.
• Maintain ethical sales practices and comply with all regulations.
• Plan pre‑call strategies for key targets and gather market intelligence from offices and pharmacists.
• Leverage sample programs, literature, and other tools to increase physician awareness of Viatris respiratory products.
• Differentiate Viatris products from competitors and address customer issues confidentially.
• Ensure high levels of call and field productivity and maintain strong relationships with peers, customers, and managers.
• Continuously pursue professional development in sales techniques, communication, and product knowledge.

Required profile

• BS or BA degree required.
• Minimum of 1 year pharmaceutical sales experience (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
• Documented history of successful performance and strong business acumen.
• Proven influence and negotiation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and listening abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Self‑starter, highly motivated, and able to learn and communicate product and disease information over time.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to travel within the territory.
