Software Development Internship

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is offering a software development internship in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role is designed as hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It is open to students or recent graduates currently pursuing a degree in any field, and includes internships, research roles, visiting scholar positions and other program-related opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior team members on assigned technical projects as determined by the business unit.
• Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing support and suggesting solutions.
• Assist with maintaining and updating hardware, software and other technical systems.
• Attend team meetings, learn project methodologies and collaborate with colleagues.
• Learn about new technologies and methodologies relevant to the work.
• Complete tasks assigned by a supervisor in a timely and efficient manner.
• Take part in periodic reviews to share updates and incorporate feedback on projects.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with programming languages or technical tools relevant to the role.
• Advanced English.
• University students who typically work during school breaks and return to their studies; part-time internships during the school year may be possible in some countries.
