Software Intern

About the role

This hybrid internship at HPE allows you to work on software development projects while spending two days per week on‑site in Aguadilla. You will contribute to the design, development, testing, and debugging of system software components.

Key responsibilities

• Code and program enhancements, updates, and changes for operating systems, compilers, networking utilities, databases, and Internet‑related tools.
• Execute test plans, log issues, and debug assigned code sections.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners to design reliable, cost‑effective solutions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Understanding of software systems design tools and programming languages.
• Basic knowledge of testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
