Systems/Software Testing Engineer II Cloud & On-Premise

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer to validate its cloud and on‑premise security management platforms. The role is hybrid, requiring on‑site presence two days per week, and focuses on end‑to‑end quality validation for Security Director Cloud and Security Director On‑Prem.

Key responsibilities

• Test end‑to‑end systems built with microservices in Kubernetes environments hosted in the AWS public cloud and deployed on VMware and KVM hypervisors.
• Perform browser compatibility, end‑user workflow, and traffic validation across supported web browsers to verify usability and functional behavior.
• Validate administrative workflows, document test scenarios, and ensure system logs are correctly generated.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using Python and Playwright, analyze failures, and integrate tests into CI pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on testing experience with networking and security products in cloud or virtualized environments.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security mechanisms.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and container‑based microservices.
