Account Manager - PR

About the role

The Account Manager will drive profitable sales growth within an assigned portfolio of customers in northern Puerto Rico, delivering Grainger's value proposition through a consultative sales approach. This role focuses on building long‑term relationships and expanding the adoption of Grainger’s solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand relationships across all levels within assigned accounts, selling Grainger’s products, services, and value‑added solutions.
• Maintain a disciplined call plan, spending roughly 80% of time in the field and 20% on administrative tasks.
• Own and consistently meet sales, margin, and growth targets for the territory.
• Manage pipeline, activities, and performance using CRM and sales enablement tools.
• Leverage internal and external resources to remove barriers and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in MRO, industrial, safety, or distribution.
• Fluent bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Valid Puerto Rico driver’s license, reliable transportation and insurance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM and sales management tools.

• Base salary range $42,900 – $71,500 per year, with incentive potential up to $14,000.
