Field Clinical Specialist – Peripheral Interventions (Puerto Rico)

About the role

The Peripheral Interventions Field Clinical Specialist acts as a clinical ambassador for Boston Scientific’s minimally invasive therapies in Puerto Rico. Working with the commercial field team, you will provide hands‑on procedural expertise, education, and support to physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure safe device use and optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver in‑person technical and clinical support for peripheral interventions, including vascular and interventional oncology procedures.
• Educate physicians and procedure teams on patient selection, therapy indications, best practices, and proper use of Boston Scientific technologies.
• Plan and conduct training sessions, workshops, and clinical presentations while supporting product development initiatives.
• Coordinate case schedules, manage inventory, submit expense reports, and ensure compliance with quality system requirements.
• Provide clinical insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to sales leadership to drive territory growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Minimum 3 + years of clinical, medical‑device, or OR experience, preferably supporting vascular, cardiovascular, or neurosurgical procedures.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong customer focus with proven relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑starter with ability to manage schedules, appointments, and follow‑ups.

Required skills

• Proficiency with duplex ultrasound, catheter angiography, CTA and MRA imaging modalities.
• Knowledge of EKG, procedural hemodynamics, heart rate and blood pressure monitoring.
• Experience using clinical technologies, imaging systems and digital tools.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
