Pulmonary Sales Consultant – Puerto Rico

About the role

The Pulmonary Sales Consultant will drive adoption of Biodesix diagnostic products across Puerto Rico, working directly with physicians and healthcare providers. The role also includes mentoring Associate Sales Consultants to build a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead market penetration and product adoption in the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets.
• Mentor and train Associate Sales Consultants, supporting their professional development.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and decision‑makers in pulmonary care.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address customer needs and improve products.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.

Required profile

• 4+ years of successful medical or diagnostic territory sales experience.
• Proven record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with problem‑solving capabilities.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 70%.
• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
