Business Relationship Officer – Corporate Banking

About the role

The Business Relationship Officer will analyze clients' banking product and service needs, generate new business, and manage asset quality for assigned corporate accounts. The role includes budgeting, credit structuring, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute relationship marketing plans, presenting bank products and services to existing clients and prospects.
• Analyze, structure, and present credit requests, prepare credit memoranda, and monitor collateral and borrowing base formulas.
• Manage risk of borrowing relationships, monitor overdrafts and delinquencies, and refer problematic loans for remedial action.
• Oversee the closing process, ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and maintain portfolio data for reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum five years of experience in client relationship management, financial statement analysis, and credit structuring.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of commercial/corporate credit practices and bank products.
