Civil Project Engineer

About the role

CPH, a top‑ranked engineering and architecture firm, is looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join its collaborative team in San Juan. You will apply engineering principles to design, develop, and implement solutions for complex civil and municipal projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for site‑development, drainage, and municipal projects.
• Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
• Conduct analyses and tests to validate designs against project requirements.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all project safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, design change logs, and status updates.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with civil design projects for site development, drainage, or municipal work.
• Experience using Civil 3D.
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
