Clinical Coordinator

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator provides administrative support and coordinates services to ensure seamless delivery of healthcare to members. Acting as a liaison between members, providers, and internal teams, the role maintains compliance with protocols and promotes efficient communication across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and send communications such as letters, reports, and presentations, and coordinate meetings and equipment requests.
• Prepare documentation, reports, graphs, and ensure timely follow‑up with eligibility, benefits verification, and payment teams.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with members and providers, updating provider information and transferring calls appropriately.
• Assess service requests for compliance, submit authorizations through operational platforms, and track pending cases.
• Maintain HIPAA‑compliant filing systems, generate productivity reports, and coordinate with hospitals or medical groups to monitor service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or associate degree with 60‑64 university credits).
• At least six months (or one year) of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in clinical or administrative roles.
• High school diploma or technical course with two years of relevant experience as an alternative qualification.
• Basic proficiency in Spanish and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to comply with company policies, local and federal regulations, and HIPAA requirements.
