Contracts Lead – Remote (Puerto Rico)

About the role

As a Contracts Lead at Honeywell, you will handle all facets of contract formation and management, including drafting, interpretation, negotiation, contract review, and administration of complex supplier agreements. You will report directly to the Procurement Assistant General Counsel and work remotely from Puerto Rico.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent and objective contract evaluation and advice to various functions.
• Draft, interpret, negotiate, and administer complex supplier agreements and manage related claims and disputes.
• Advise internal customers and stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and term interpretations.
• Drive continual improvement of contract formation and management processes while ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across multiple sites to ensure standardization and organizational effectiveness.
• Support cost‑target maximization and cash‑flow while minimizing risk in contract negotiations.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years experience managing and negotiating contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial terms to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and interpreting complex contractual documents.
• Proficiency with contract management software and AI‑powered tools for contract review and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and strong problem‑solving abilities.
