Delivery Driver

About the role

Delivery Drivers at Sherwin-Williams transport paint and coating products from store #2873 to customers using company vans or pickup trucks. The role focuses on accurate, safe, and timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and load customer orders efficiently, ensuring correct packing and documentation.
• Transport and deliver items safely, adhering to assigned routes, schedules, and transportation laws.
• Maintain the store vehicle, report repair needs, and keep a clean driving record.
• Provide customer service, answer questions, handle complaints, and complete delivery reports.
• Perform additional store tasks such as warehouse duties, tinting, mixing orders, and operating material‑handling equipment.

Required profile

• At least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in Puerto Rico without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lb frequently and up to 70 lb occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• For internal candidates: recent performance rating of “meets expectations” and completion of required eLearning courses.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s license.
• Operation of material‑handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.).
