GCM Project Management - Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a GCM Project Management specialist in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, in a hybrid arrangement of about two days per week in an HPE office. The role covers planning, scheduling and coordinating demand/supply management, business processes and product/service delivery, and works with suppliers, contracts and sourcing systems. It is a specialist-level position in the Supply Chain & Operations job family.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex supply chain processes such as supplier selection, onboarding, negotiation, costing, contract management and sourcing projects.
• Work with Commodity Management and Manufacturing Operations to define requirements and document them.
• Analyze market trends, pricing strategies and supplier performance, and run demand and supply matching.
• Manage sourcing systems strategy, deployment and governance across platforms such as SAP, Ariba, Smart Contracts and supplier portals.
• Maintain governance for supplier, contract and material master data, and support TL9K audits.
• Lead change management, UAT and deployment readiness for sourcing systems.
• Support M&A integrations and mergers through process harmonization and data alignment.
• Define sourcing policies, governance and compliance requirements, and manage strategic sourcing programs and roadmaps.
• Drive advanced analytics, AI/ML and intelligent automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Typically 4-6 years of experience in a supply chain function, with a solid understanding of supply chain and product costing.
• Demonstrated ability in a data or business analyst role.
• First university degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Operations, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Business Management; advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills, with mastery of English and the local language.

Required skills

• Data mining, SQL, Business Objects, Agile, SAP and Oracle preferred.
• Business intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), statistical analysis and financial modeling.
• Project management, business process design and re-engineering, systems integration and testing.
