Global Commodity Manager - Printed Circuit Boards

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Global Commodity Manager for Printed Circuit Boards in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers execution of commodity and category strategies worldwide, procurement strategy and coordination with engineering, manufacturing and business units to ensure supply, service levels and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute commodity and category strategies worldwide and company procurement policies and tactics
• Coordinate purchasing with engineering, manufacturing, strategic procurement and business units to maintain planned inventory levels, assure supply and meet business requirements
• Lead or take part in cross-functional teams and introduce new processes, program solutions and methods
• Develop and run strategic plans and initiatives across the company's businesses and geographies
• Analyze owned programs, metrics and process-oriented tasks, and mentor lower-level contributors

Required profile

• First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
• Typically 6-10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with global procurement experience strongly preferred
• Mastery of English and the local language
