Graduate Nurse – Bayamón Clinic – Monday to Friday

About the role

The clinic in Bayamón is seeking a registered graduate nurse to provide and coordinate patient care from Monday to Friday. The role involves assessing physical and behavioral health needs, developing care plans, and educating patients and families.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients continuously and document status, notifying physicians of significant changes.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper medication administration, including controlled substances.
• Provide therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes and coordinate unit activities as directed.

Required profile

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license for the state of employment or eligibility to practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience; psychiatric or substance‑use experience is a plus.
• CPR, de‑escalation, and restraint certification (training provided if needed).
• First‑aid certification as required by state or facility.
