Molding Set Up Technician – 3rd Shift

About the role

The Molding Set Up Technician ensures that molding equipment operates according to specifications by observing, inspecting, and performing minor repairs. Working under close supervision on the 3rd shift, the technician solves routine problems while upholding Viant’s safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify equipment malfunctions and coordinate minor adjustments with the supervisor.
• Install and remove molds in machines according to schedule and SOP 003.
• Maintain parting line cleaning schedule and complete required documentation.
• Follow all company and machine safety guidelines.
• Perform purging and material setup as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in injection molding.
• Ability to work rotating 3rd‑shift schedule and perform moderate lifting (up to 20 lb).
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive hand work for extended periods.
