Networking Qualification Engineer II

About the role

The Networking Qualification Engineer II role is a hybrid position, requiring on‑site work at an HPE office two days per week. You will contribute to the design, analysis, and validation of electrical and electronic hardware for networking products.

Key responsibilities

• Design portions of engineering solutions for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms following established engineering principles.
• Develop and implement test plans to validate tolerances, form/fit/function, shock, vibration, EMI, safety, reliability, thermal performance, and power measurements.
• Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners on hardware design and development.
• Participate in project teams to deliver reliable, cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Typically 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electrical design tools and software packages.
• Ability to design electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
• Experience using empirical analysis, modeling, and testing methodologies to validate designs.
