Parental Support Operator I (3rd Shift)

About the role

AbbVie is hiring a Parental Support Operator I for the 3rd shift in its manufacturing area. The operator works in an assigned functional area (filling or compounding) in aseptic or non-aseptic environments, performing inspection, packing, cleaning and sterilization tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and pack syringes of biologic parenteral products.
• Clean, prepare and sterilize manufacturing equipment for parenteral use.
• Carry out equipment and facility inspections and report issues affecting operation, safety and environmental conditions.
• Receive, inspect and verify materials needed for production, and collect and process samples as required.
• Document, audit and correct manufacturing batch records (electronic or paper) in a timely way.
• Monitor critical parameters and raise deviations that could affect operations.
• Follow cGMP, SOPs and EHS procedures, including incident reporting, PPE use and waste management.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Science, Mechanics, Electricity, Instrumentation or a related field.
• No previous experience required.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques.
• Basic mechanical and mathematical skills.
• Verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Preferred: basic knowledge of computerized systems such as Delta V, MES and SAP.
