Professional Services Manager - Dedrone Deployments

About the role

Axon is hiring a Professional Services Manager for its Dedrone business, which protects airspace with AI-powered drone detection and mitigation. The role is based in Puerto Rico (remote) with about 50% travel across Latin America, Central and South America and the Caribbean, reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployments as the main point of contact after sale, covering pre-deployment planning, hardware logistics, stakeholder alignment, on-site support and go-live enablement.
• Deliver role-based training to customer drone teams, public safety operators, command staff and IT teams, tailored to non-technical and highly technical audiences.
• Help customers set up operational policies and workflows that integrate Dedrone with broader agency technology stacks such as Axon Evidence, body-worn cameras and in-car video systems.
• Manage third-party training and integration vendors, conduct site assessments, and build and maintain deployment documentation, SOP templates and training plans.
• Monitor deployments, escalate issues, and capture feature requests and bug reports for Product and Engineering.
• Attend strategic customer meetings with Sales, lead or assist in POCs, support RFP/RFI responses, and draft or validate Statements of Work.

Required profile

• 3+ years of customer-facing experience (Professional Services, Field Engineering, Sales Engineering or Deployment).
• Direct experience deploying hardware and software in complex operational environments.
• Experience with public safety agencies, especially law enforcement or security operations.
• Ability to train executives, end users and technical teams and to manage projects from kickoff to success.
• Willingness to travel heavily and to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders and work in elevated environments.

Required skills

• IP networking, SNMP, DHCP, PoE and Linux CLI.
• Basic system administration.
