Senior Data Analyst – People Analytics

About the role

Support Popular’s People Analytics strategy by applying advanced analytics and data‑science techniques to workforce data. Transform raw employee information into predictive and prescriptive insights that guide strategic HR decisions, and collaborate with IT on building a data lake.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage talent, engagement, compensation and other HR data sources to generate actionable insights for business decisions.
• Develop and maintain analytical scripts, data pipelines, and reusable solutions for large, complex datasets.
• Design, validate and maintain predictive and prescriptive models for workforce planning, turnover risk, hiring effectiveness and employee engagement.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations for HR and senior leadership.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards, scorecards and reporting solutions end‑to‑end.
• Present analyses and model outcomes to senior stakeholders, providing guidance on interpretation and next steps.
• Partner with People Division experts to identify analytical opportunities and deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Perform rigorous quality‑assurance, validation and governance activities across all deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with disparate data sources and generating insights.
• Experience with relational databases and programming languages such as SQL, SAS, R or Python.
