System Support Specialist – Puerto Rico

About the role

Serco is seeking a System Support Specialist to join its Defense team supporting the Army USACE program in Puerto Rico. The role involves on‑site technical support, infrastructure wellness checks, and ensuring compliance with USACE IT policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for AV/VTC systems, network performance evaluations, and conference room equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and administer AV/VTC components, including Polycom 500 and SX 80 systems.
• Manage network accounts, file shares, SIPRNET transition, and legacy application/server reduction.
• Handle technical issue ticketing, equipment disposal training, and SLA tracking.
• Travel up to 10% to CASTLE‑NET field offices.

Required profile

• Active DoD Secret clearance and up‑to‑date IAT Level II certification.
• High school diploma/GED with 6 years IT experience, or associate degree with 4 years, or bachelor’s degree with 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience providing AV/VTC support and troubleshooting Polycom systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
