Technical Support – On‑Site in Aguadilla, PR

About the role

DXC Technology is seeking an on‑site Technical Support professional to join its IT team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role involves providing hardware, software, and networking assistance to end‑users and ensuring smooth operation of corporate IT assets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site field support, including installation, servicing, and repair of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and related accessories.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows (XP, 10, 11), macOS, iOS, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Skype for Business, OneDrive, and corporate applications.
• Manage ticket and asset workflows, perform IMACD (install, move, add, change, delete) activities within SLA targets.
• Configure and support network printers, HP devices, VPN connectivity, and LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
• Image, deploy, and re‑image PCs using SCCM or standalone methods, and handle patch management and group policy updates.
• Maintain accurate records in the configuration management database and asset management systems.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehousing tasks, including lifting up to 40 lb items.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant technical support experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lb, perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, and climbing stairs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
