Tax Analyst

About the role

The Tax Analyst will ensure compliance with local, federal, and international tax laws for the company. You will work closely with Accounting, Billing, IT, and other internal teams to resolve tax discrepancies and support new product launches from an indirect tax perspective.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with tax compliance requirements for PR, USVI, and US tax authorities.
• Investigate and resolve tax discrepancies, variances, and billing issues.
• Develop and implement process improvements and automation to enhance compliance accuracy.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
• Manage tax‑related correspondence in coordination with the Tax Manager and Tax Director.
• Support internal compliance initiatives and promote employee tax education.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxes, Business Administration, or Legal studies.
• 3–6 years of experience in tax accounting, compliance, or tax law.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• High ethical standards and confidentiality handling sensitive information.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
