About the role
Laukaitis Law is looking for a full‑time Technology & Automation Specialist to manage, monitor, troubleshoot and improve the firm’s technology systems and automations. The role is fully remote but requires the candidate to reside in Puerto Rico and to work closely with firm leadership, employees and external vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot automations, integrations and workflows across platforms such as Clio, GoHighLevel, Slack, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, DocuSign, QuickBooks Online and various SaaS applications.
- Investigate failed workflows, missing data, duplicate records and other system issues, fixing them directly or coordinating with vendors.
- Serve as the first point of contact for routine technology problems, handling software, login, connectivity and basic hardware issues.
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, MFA and other security controls, ensuring terminated personnel lose access promptly.
- Document system architectures, integration details, troubleshooting steps and create simple diagrams to prevent knowledge loss.
- Test new automations and system changes before deployment, performing audits to verify data accuracy and prevent duplicates.
Required profile
- Located in Puerto Rico and available to work full‑time during normal business hours.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT, software development, automation, systems administration or technical support.
- Strong attention to detail, methodical problem‑solving and the ability to document processes in plain English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with attorneys, non‑technical staff and external vendors.
- Dependable and responsive during working hours.
Required skills
- Understanding of APIs, webhooks and database concepts.
- Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make or Power Automate.
- Familiarity with legal practice‑management software (e.g., Clio) and CRM tools (e.g., GoHighLevel).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive and Azure services.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Git/GitHub, Python or JavaScript.
