Clinical Research Associate (CRA) 2 / Senior CRA 1

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) based in Puerto Rico to deliver high-quality clinical trials. You will partner with investigative sites and cross-functional teams so that studies are executed with excellence, compliance and a strong focus on patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute site monitoring visits, including selection, initiation, routine monitoring and close-out, in line with GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with investigative sites to drive site performance, patient recruitment and study engagement.
• Ensure protocol compliance, data integrity and high-quality study execution.
• Proactively identify risks, resolve issues and escalate concerns when appropriate.
• Track and manage study progress, including regulatory approvals, enrollment milestones and data quality metrics.
• Maintain accurate study documentation and contribute to audit and inspection readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support study delivery and timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Nursing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 1.5 years of on-site monitoring experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Experience monitoring studies in CNS, Cardiovascular, Obesity and/or MASH/NASH therapeutic areas preferred.
• Willingness to travel within Puerto Rico and potentially other locations as needed.
