Construction Estimator

About the role

The Construction Estimator works on‑site in Guaynabo, preparing accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial projects. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates reflect design changes and project realities.

Key responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to perform detailed quantity take‑offs.
• Develop cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and subcontractors and track actual costs versus estimates.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to clarify scope, answer questions, and update estimates as designs evolve.
• Support budgeting, bid proposals, and provide clear documentation for project planning and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong construction estimating and quantity take‑off skills with ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience in cost management, budgeting, and variance analysis for commercial or residential projects.
• Effective communication to collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Relevant education in construction management, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
