Data Analyst - Supply Chain

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Central Planning Team analyzes, forecasts and reports on quarterly revenue targets using supply chain planning, finance and sales data. As a Data Analyst focused on supply chain analytics, you will help build data-driven tools and reports that improve decision-making. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards on customer demand fulfillment and supply availability.
• Use advanced SQL querying in a Snowflake environment to extract, manipulate and analyze data accurately.
• Contribute to forecasting models by integrating data sources, with possible involvement of AI/ML methods.
• Design and implement interactive, automated dashboards that visualize complex datasets.
• Run ad-hoc analyses to support decisions, identify trends and recommend improvements to supply chain performance.
• Partner with cross-functional supply chain teams to gather data requirements and turn them into reporting solutions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management or a related quantitative discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a quick learner.
• Preferred: prior supply chain experience, preferably in high tech, and dashboard creation experience.

Required skills

• SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau
• Data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake
• Preferred: complex SQL optimization, Python, and exposure to AI/ML concepts
