Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Supply Chain Specialist, a senior-level position focused on managing critical supply chain initiatives that ensure material availability, supply continuity, inventory optimization and operational excellence across Juniper's global manufacturing network. The role acts as a liaison between suppliers, contract manufacturers, procurement, planning, engineering, product operations and business stakeholders. It is designed as onsite, with the expectation of working primarily from an HPE partner or customer office.

Key responsibilities

• Supply planning and execution: ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and components, monitor supply and demand trends, optimize inventory, lead times and service levels, and prepare for new product introductions, transitions and end-of-life activities
• Supplier management: run regular supplier reviews on build plan, ship plan, capacity, quality, delivery and risk, escalate supply issues and drive partner metrics such as ROP fulfillment and on-time execution
• Risk management: identify capacity, material shortage, logistics and geopolitical risks, develop contingency plans and support business continuity and resiliency
• Cross-functional leadership: work with Global Material Management, Category Management, Manufacturing Operations and Logistics, lead supply chain programs, influence decisions with data and support executive reporting
• Data analysis and reporting: build dashboards and KPIs, review CMINV and E&O reports, support quarterly business reviews and manage miscellaneous shipments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Typically 4-6 years of experience in the electronics industry, preferably in tier-one EMS companies
• Experience with global suppliers and contract manufacturers
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills; excellent English, Mandarin preferred
• Ability to resolve issues independently in line with processes and guidelines

Required skills

• ERP and planning systems such as Oracle, SAP, Kinaxis or equivalent
• Excel, data analytics and supply chain reporting tools
• Familiarity with CTB/build plans, BOMs, ECOs and DEVs
• Preferred: Power BI, Tableau, SQL, networking/telecoms experience, and knowledge of risk management, business continuity, logistics and trade compliance
