GMP Technician – Puerto Rico

About the role

The GMP Technician will keep assigned GMP areas clean, orderly, and compliant with safety and quality standards. Working on a shift team, the technician follows written and verbal instructions and supports the shift lead in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitized GMP environment, performing repetitive cleaning and sanitization tasks.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures; stop risky behavior of self and others.
• Use proper personal protective equipment and adhere to gowning procedures.
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co‑workers, managers, and customers.
• Support the shift lead in completing punch‑list items, work orders, and shutdown cleaning.
• Complete daily FN logs accurately and report maintenance issues.
• Act as a fill‑in for other staff during shortages.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience (preferred).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Completed all safety and task‑training certifications.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and upkeep.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, manuals, and safety instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Forklift operation (if certified).
• CPR/AED/First Aid (if certified).
• Gowning procedures for GMP areas.
