Happiness Specialist – Community Liaison & Concierge Services

About the role

The Happiness Specialist provides high‑touch concierge and customer service to federal employees and their families relocating to Puerto Rico, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive overall experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with relocation, onboarding, settling‑in, and departure needs, covering transportation, utilities, government services, education, healthcare, housing, and recreation.
• Manage service requests from inquiry through resolution, maintaining documentation in the program CRM.
• Research, recommend, and coordinate social, cultural, educational, and family‑oriented activities to help employees discover Puerto Rico.
• Develop relationships with local organizations, vendors, and service providers; maintain a 60‑90 day calendar of community events.
• Prepare orientations, informational materials, newsletters, guides, and digital content.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least two years of experience in hospitality, concierge, customer experience, tourism, relocation services, or related fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of Puerto Rico’s communities, culture, attractions, and resources.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally; flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Basic ability to use Canva for creating digital content.
