Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) Specialist

About the role

Para la Naturaleza is seeking a technology‑driven professional to join its Project Management Office. The PMIS Specialist will transform project data into actionable insights, support strategic decision‑making, and help the organization achieve its conservation mission across Puerto Rico.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and continuously improve the Project Management Information System (PMIS), including Smartsheet and related platforms.
• Design and maintain dashboards, executive reports, KPIs, and performance metrics for the program and project portfolio.
• Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance improvements.
• Develop and optimize workflows, templates, automations, and business processes to enhance project execution.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance of the project portfolio.
• Provide user training, technical guidance, and support adoption of PMIS tools across cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with Information Systems and stakeholders to implement technologies and improve system integrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with PMIS, business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, or process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on translating complex data into business insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
