Chef de Partie – Luxury Resort Kitchen

About the role

We are seeking a Chef de Partie to supervise and oversee the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico. The role involves maintaining high quality standards, safety, and sanitation in a luxury hotel kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to guest orders and recipe cards, ensuring consistent quality, portion, and presentation.
• Train, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff, enforcing cultural and core standards.
• Operate, maintain, and clean a range of kitchen equipment including deep fryers, broilers, ovens, steamers, mixers, slicers, and flat‑top grills.
• Manage inventory by dating containers, rotating stock, checking par levels, and controlling food waste.

Required profile

• High school diploma, cooking school or culinary institute education, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of culinary experience; advanced culinary knowledge expected.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficient operation of deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat‑top grill.
• Strong knife skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
