Commodity Planning & Procurement Manager (Supply Planning)

About the role

HPE is seeking a results‑driven Commodity Planning & Procurement Manager to lead component planning for networking semiconductor and memory products. You will own component supply health through forecasting, procurement, inventory management, supplier collaboration and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fulfillment strategies across suppliers, distributors/3PLs, ODM/CM partners and internal teams, developing and executing procurement plans.
• Drive inventory turns, resolve shortages quickly and own component forecasting and supply health metrics.
• Conduct co‑planning/CPFR activities with suppliers and maintain reporting tools and dashboards.
• Manage purchase orders, lead‑time tracking, supplier commitments and supply continuity planning.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, forecast risks and support cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• 7+ years in semiconductor supply chain, commodity management, demand/supply planning or procurement.
• Deep understanding of silicon, wireless, FPGA, CPU and memory supply chains.
• Experience in high‑tech hardware environments, preferably networking or server manufacturing.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards).
• Power BI or Tableau for reporting.
• ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Material management, demand planning and direct procurement processes.
