Data Scientist – Education Division

About the role

Join the Education division of Red Ventures as a Data Scientist, working on machine‑learning solutions that personalize the online experience for prospective students and improve partner value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end data science models with minimal guidance.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other data scientists to move ideas from discovery to production.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback and communicate results across business, creative, and engineering teams.
• Contribute to the broader RV data‑science community and stay current with DS/ML/AI advancements.

Required profile

• 1+ years of professional data‑science experience (or 3‑5 years without an advanced degree).
• MS or PhD in a STEM field focused on computer science, machine learning, statistical modeling, or optimization.
• Proactive, bias‑to‑action mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to understand business context, define value propositions, and solve complex problems with limited guidance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Databricks.
