Full Stack Software Engineer II – Hybrid (Aguadilla, PR)

About the role

In this Full Stack Software Engineer II role, you will contribute to the development of scalable and maintainable frontend and backend systems for an enterprise web platform. You will work closely with senior engineers to build high‑quality UI components, develop and integrate backend services and APIs, and enhance user experience while following established architectural and design standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modular single‑page application components using React, Angular or Vue (Quasar preferred).
• Implement state‑management solutions such as Redux, Pinia or NgRx under guidance.
• Design, build and support scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Translate design specifications into responsive, accessible UI elements and dashboards.
• Apply performance optimisation techniques like lazy loading and code splitting.

Required profile

• STEM degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 2 years of relevant software development experience.
• U.S. citizenship required to access designated systems.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated experience in both frontend and backend development.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with React, Angular, Vue (Quasar) and component‑based architecture.
• State‑management libraries: Redux, Pinia, NgRx.
• Building RESTful APIs and working with databases.
• Understanding of OOP, modular design, unit and integration testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
