Graduate Registered Nurse – Bayamón

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care in Bayamón. The RN will assess physical and behavioral health needs, develop care plans, and educate patients and families.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health status and document findings.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure legible transcription of physicians’ orders.
• Administer medications, including controlled substances, and document counts.
• Monitor patient status continuously, notify physicians of significant changes, and respond to emergencies.
• Apply universal precautions and adhere to state Nurse Practice Act regulations.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes efficiently.

Required profile

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of employment or eligibility to practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience; psychiatric or substance‑use experience preferred.
• CPR certification and training in de‑escalation and restraint (provided if needed).
• First‑aid certification as required by state or facility.
