Optum, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. The technician assists in pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, working according to written procedures and pharmacy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver and restock medications
• Perform order entry
• Procure drugs
• Handle billing

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active applicable state Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
• Recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally in a hospital or outpatient setting
• Able to work Monday to Friday 40 hours per week during business hours (7am-8pm) and weekends (7am-3:30pm)
• English proficiency assessment after application

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy software
• Preferred: PTCB or CPhT certification
