Service Representative

About the role

The Service Representative acts as the primary point of contact between customers and GE Appliances, handling inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person visits. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, supporting brand loyalty, and contributing to business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer and consumer calls, providing timely and professional resolutions.
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments using company systems.
• Respond to service requests and follow‑up communications via email and other channels.
• Maintain and update customer databases, including warranty registrations and geographic data.
• Support customer retention through proactive follow‑up and the Save a Call initiative.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of customer service experience in a service‑oriented environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
