Demand Planner (Business Planning)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Demand Planner in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. The position sits in business planning and focuses on evaluating business plans so they are operationally executable against strategic objectives, and on forecasting and resource optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against strategic objectives.
• Lead and partner with cross-functional teams to develop short-term business plans (typically under two years).
• Set business metrics, evaluate actual performance and recommend targets to business leaders.
• Develop data-driven analyses to optimize resources and turn business plans into financial value.
• Build complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance and coach others on model development.
• Manage market research projects and produce synthesized intelligence reports.
• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities and risks, and propose go-forward recommendations.

Required profile

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Data Analytics, Finance or Economics, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent.
• APICS or IBF certification is beneficial; supply chain certification is a plus.
• Typically 4-6 years of experience in supply chain strategy, planning, operations, finance or a related field.
• Advanced English, strong verbal and written communication, and strong project management and relationship management skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel and prior experience with ERP planning systems.
• Knowledge of research methodology and statistical and financial modeling.
• Analytical thinking, data manipulation and business problem analysis.
