Senior Demand Planner

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Senior Demand Planner in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. The position sits within business planning and involves evaluating business plans, building forecasts and partnering with sales, business and finance to align plans with strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate multiple business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against strategic objectives.
• Lead and partner with cross-functional teams to develop short-term business plans (typically under two years).
• Set business metrics, evaluate actual performance and recommend targets to business leaders.
• Develop data-driven analyses to optimize resources and turn business plans into financial value.
• Work with Sales, Business and Finance to produce an optimal plan.
• Build complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance and coach others on model development.
• Manage market research projects and produce synthesized intelligence reports.
• Identify analytical tools and methods, and lead cross-functional teams across business planning activities.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Business/Data Analytics, Finance or Economics, Industrial Engineering (e.g. MBA) or equivalent.
• APICS or IBF certification desired.
• Typically 10-15 years of experience in supply chain strategy, planning, operations, finance or a related area.
• Knowledge of KPIs for demand, supply and inventory planning.
• Excellent English, strong communication, leadership and project management skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel and significant experience with ERP planning systems.
• Research methodology, statistical analysis and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical thinking and data manipulation skills.
